Beckenbauer Golf Course

designed by B. Langer

The 18-hole course designed by world-class golfer Bernhard Langer hosted the Porsche European Open, one of Europe's most prestigious professional tournaments, in 2015 and 2016. In 2017, the Beckenbauer Golf Course was the venue for the Paul Lawrie Matchplay, and the European Tour also hosted its Challenge Tour three years in a row from 2013 to 2015. On all occasions, the best golfers in Europe praised the Championship Course as a demanding test at international level, which convinced them with its technical challenge and the excellent state of maintenance.

From a technical point of view, the level, easy-to-walk course is characterized by a large number of water hazards. These take the form of streams, ditches, flood depressions or ponds and demand precision from the player both on the drive and on the approach shots. Water comes into play on 13 of 18 holes, most spectacularly on holes 9 and 18, where a large pond gives the two greens, separated from the water by stone walls, the character of islands.

Brunnwies Golf Course

designed by B. Langer

The Allfinanz Golf Course Brunnwies was Bernhard Langer's first design for the Golf Resort Bad Griesbach, and his design for the 18-hole course is still considered a complete success today. For the championship course is a kind of "Best of Bad Griesbach", contains just about everything that distinguishes the Golf Resort and makes it popular: magnificent views of a beautiful nature, harmoniously inserted into the hilly landscape, a varied, sporty design, but which is manageable for everyone, a very good maintenance condition and with the Gutshof a cozy rustic meeting place that makes après golf a pleasure.

The visual attractions of the par 71/70 course are mainly contributed by the landscape structure. The 18 holes wind in an almost natural way through the rolling hills of the Rottal and offer beautiful views of the landscape, which is also called the "Bavarian Tuscany". Only in two places are there steeper climbs, which at their highest points provide not only a beautiful view but also particularly interesting holes with long tee shots into the depths.

Porsche golf course

designed by B. Langer

Located directly next to the Beckenbauer Golf Course, the Porsche Golf Course is, in sporting terms, the smaller brother of the European Tour-tested Championship Course and thus a perfect complement. The design of the par 71 course was also created by Germany's world-class golfer Bernhard Langer and features comparable basic features, but was geared more towards the needs of recreational players.

The terrain is flat, the 18 holes lead in a mixture of short and longer holes through the floodplain landscape of the Rott River, which could be integrated into the layout in some places. At 65 hectares, the Porsche Golf Course is somewhat more compact in terms of surface area than the Beckenbauer Golf Course, and with its gently undulating fairways and mature old trees it is also visually more pleasing than the more open neighboring course.

Uttlau Golf Course

designed by K. Rossknecht

A small village with church and estate, idyllically nestled in a landscape of rolling hills, fields, fruit trees, ponds and above it on sunny days the white-blue sky - anyone who appreciates a typical Bavarian ambience will be thrilled by the St. Wolfgang Golf Course Uttlau. German golf course architect Kurt Rossknecht was the same when he was allowed to draw 18 holes into this Bavarian postcard landscape.

According to his design specifications, a course was created that fits harmoniously into the terrain, is sporty and demanding, but always easy to play, and offers golfers of all skill levels their money's worth. The course leads in two 9-hole loops over a ridge, ascending fairways with occasional slopes, elevated greens and tee shots into the valley alternate with flatter holes on the level, where shots over water hazards on generously sized, undulating greens have to be mastered.
